A highly interactive class where we delve into the art elements that make up excellent art. Think video game design, famous digital artists and I won’t tell if you don’t: but we cover maths, science, history and English too! Each week we delve into a new art element and create some spectacular artwork of each element. Guaranteed fun! No technology required except for something to run the zoom class, art paper and a medium of your student’s choice…

Classe run from 10am – 10:45am with 15 mins show and tell after class if your student wishes to participate.

What can I expect my student to learn in this class?
Art Design Fundamentals is a non technology class that gets all the fundamentals of art & digital design downpat. But don’t mistake that for a boring theory class! We will learn the elements of design each week, which will include a full slideshow presentation of where we see that element in modern art, historical art and digital art. Each week your student will create an artwork featuring that design element and there is also a worksheet supplied each week so that your student has a reference to what they’ve learned.
How long does the class run for?
Each class has been curated to run for 45mins (give or take 5-10mins) which allows for us to get some practical art works completed during class. An art assignment is issued each week which is optional, for the student to work on at their own leisure.
How much is the class?
Classes cost $12.50 each week, which can be paid via subscription weekly, or as a lump sum at the beginning of term. **Please reach out if this is beyond you or if you have multiple students. I’m more than happy to help out so your student does not miss out…
How many weeks does the class run for?
Classes run in line with the New South Wales Australian curriculum terms. Mostly are 10 weeks long…
What time does the class run?
The Art Design Fundamentals class run on Friday at 10am each week during the term. This is at AEST time, Sydney, Australia. Check locally to see the time. Generally NZ time is 12pm, and WA time is 8am.
